Nell Murphy on 10th July, 2016 wrote:
Jeremiah COFFEE was convicted at Cork, Ireland on 3 Jan 1848 for stealing 16 geese. (Previous for stealing a cow - 3mths gaol). 7yr transportation sentence. Transported to Van Diemen’s Land (Tasmania) per the ‘Blenheim’ arriving 2 Feb 1849.
Aged 17yrs; single; labourer; 4’11”; Roman Catholic; can read a little; fresh complexion, freckled; dk brown hair; grey eyes.
Native place: Co. Cork, Ireland.
