The Convict Indentures state that Honora Coffey was 22 years old. She could read and write; religion Protestant; status single with 1 daughter and a native of County Galway. she was a house maid. Honora was convicted of stealing money at County Galway on 20 October 1837 and sentenced to 7 years. She had one prior conviction and served 2 months. Physical attributes: Height 5 feet 0 1/2 inches; complexion ruddy; hair brown and eyes hazel grey. Transport number 153. Prisoner number 152-38. Received her Certificate of Freedom in 1845 (number 45/994).
