Tried in the supreme court Hobart Town - 8 December 1845. Aiding and abetting job Harris to commit an unnatural crime on David Boyd. Guilty to be Hanged ** Executed 31 December 1845 - The Observer (Hobart, Tas. : 1845 - 1846) Fri 12 Dec 1845 Page 3 SUPREME COURT— Job Harris and William Collier were indicted for an unnatural offence committed at Port Arthur. The circumstances of this case were atrocious and unfit for publication. The prisoners were found guilty on the clearest evidence, and the sentence of death was passed on them.
