Family connections for Catherine (Collins) are: COLLINS Catherine (Collins) was born about 1768. She was tried at Limerick Ireland in March 1793, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 11 2 1796 after a voyage of 6months on MARQUIS CORNWALLIS.>>> >>>She may be the Catherine (Collins) also described as arriving in the colony as a convict in 1797 on BRITANNIA. >>> [Some details taken from this Website: >>>Catherine (Collins) had a relationship with George (Carman his first relationship) & produced 1child. She died on 13 5 1826 an emancipist-murdered at Portland Head-also known as Kitty (Carman). George (Carman) was born about 1772. He arrived in the colony as a convict in 1790 after a voyage of 6months on Fleet ship SCARBOROUGH; a voyage noted for extreme brutality of prisoners with a high death rate. >>>Noted a George (Carman SCARBOROUGH 1788) has an entry on this Website.
