Conduct after arrival in Tasmania (very long charge sheet beginning 1 week after arrival amd continuing right through until at least May 1840) and 3. Application to be given permission to marry in March 1846 (another convict Helena Towe) Tasmania. He was pardoned 1849-1850 after serving 16 yrs and 9 mo - much of this in chains carrying out hard labour as punishment for misconduct whilst at the colony -- born c 1810 - age 23 in 1833, occ = stonecutter -- crime pickpocket -- tatoos on left arm - red-brown hair - 5 ft 3 1/2 inches tall
