Prisoner discharged from H M Gaols, weeks ending 22 & 18 May 1872. Jonas Collins, per Maria Somes 1, F.S., tried at Oatlands on 29 Jan 1872 for larceny and served 3 months, native Wiltshire, 56 yrs, 5 feet 11 inches high, greyish hair. Large scar right side of neck ; since admitted as an invalid. Tasmania Police Gazette, 24th May 1872, p87.
