Age; 25 years old Labourer 1823 - Marriage - 22 Sept 1823 Moses Collins aged 29 years old [Ship; Lady Castlereagh] Charlotte Collins aged 22 years old [Ship; Lord Sidmouth] 1824 - 31 Mar. Free Certificate 1824 - 16 Nov. Hobart Town Court. Status: Free by servitude. Offense: Receiving 10 bushels of wheat value ?5 and 4 bags value 12/- property of Urias Allender Verdict: Not guilty 1827 - 10 July. Memo for his wife to be liberated from the Factory - Cascades Female House of Correction 1834 - TRIAL; Hobart; 3 Dec 1834. Offence; Stealing Wool. Sentence; 7 years Accidently killed in the service of E Dumaresq Esq. on the 17th inst Vide Mem 29 March 1838

Reading Assizes. At these assizes there were five prisoners capitally convicted; viz Moses Collins alias Collet, charged with stealing grey gelding, the property Lord Bolingbroke; Cambridge Chronicle, 14 March 1817.
