The guard consists of Captain Bull (with Mrs. Bull, 4 children, and 1 female servant), and 30 rank and file of the 99th Regt., - 4 women, and 6 children. Colonial Times (Hobart) 25 Oct 1842.

c. 1827 Born in Co. Meath, Ireland. She was the daughter of Richard and Honora Collins. She had a sister Ellen and brothers Patrick, William and John. 18 Jan. 1848 She was tried in Co. Mayo and sentenced to 7 years' transportation for stealing shirts from Ellen Collins (sister) of Co. Meath. She had previous convictions: 6 months imprisonment for stealing money; 3 months for breaking glass. She was twice discharged for stealing clothes. 25 Jan. 1848 The Mayo Constitution: "Ballina Quarter Sessions. Sibby Collins, larceny. Transportation for seven years." 16 June 1848 She left Dublin on board the Kinnear. 7 Oct. 1848 She arrived in VDL. The following description was taken down: a house maid, she was 5'ft and aged 21. She had dark brown hair and grey eyes. She was single and a Roman Catholic. She had spent three years on the town (prostitution). Her probation period lasted for 6 months spent on the Anson. 23 Nov. 1849 At Brickfields. For allowing smoking in the dormitory, one month hard labour . 21 Dec. 1849 She was at the Female Factory in Hobart. 16 Apr. 1850 She applied to marry the English convict William Fleet, transported on the Cressy. 6 May1850 She married William Fleet (Hobart 217/1850).
