Family connections for Mary (Comber) are: COMBER Mary (Comber) was born about 1786. She arrived in NSW as a convict on 24 2 1817 after a voyage of 7months on LORD MELVILLE. She married Fardy (Shane/Shean/Sheahan his first marriage) on 5 9 1817 at St Johns CofE Parramatta. Mary (Comber) does not have an entry on this Website as yet-added by me. Fardy (Shane/Shean) was born about 1782 perhaps at Tipperary & became a sieve maker. He was tried at Roscommon Co. Ireland, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 8 4 1816 after a voyage of seemingly 16months on GUILDFORD. He was employed at lumber yard when he married with permission, as (Sheehan), firstly (1of3) Mary (Comber) on 5 9 1817 at St Johns CofE Parramatta. He was Free by Servitude by 1826 had a second relationship (2of3) with Mary (Kelleher her third relationship). He had a third relationship with Jane (Prendergast). He died in 1842 age about62 father of perhaps 3children at Cornwallis Windsor.
