CLONMEL ASSIZES, MARCH, 1826, … To be transported for Life—... David Condon ... for manslaughter, ... Limerick Chronicle, 15 April 1826. David Condon was convicted of the aggravated manslaughter of Thomas Looby, and sentenced to transportation for life. Limerick Chronicle, 5 April 1826.




David was 65 (supposedly) on arrival. He was a widower with 9 children and his native place was Tipperary. 1834: TOL Richmond 1840: TOL Mudgee 15/8/1854: Died aged 86 (which should make his birth date 1768, if correct) at the Invalid Establishment, Parramatta.
