The Convict Indentures state that Mary Condon was 24 years old. She could not read or write; religion Roman Catholic; status married with one son and a native of County Cork. Mary was convicted of stealing clothes at Cork City on 20 October 1837 and sentenced to 7 years transportation. She had no prior convictions. Physical attributes: Height 4 feet 11 inches; complexion sallow and freckled; hair brown and eyes dark grey to blue. Transport number 130. Prisoner number 129-38.
