Mary CONNARTY was convicted at Louth, Ireland on 31 Oct 1850 for stealing cloth. Previous offence. 7yr transportation sentence. Sent to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the 'Blackfriar' 1851. Aged 21yrs; housemaid; 4'9 1/2"; Protestant; single. Native place - Dublin Brother: Patrick Sister: Bridgit Assigned to various work services in the Colony. 7 June 1856: Delivered of a male child - Charles Edward CONNARTY (father not named). (ref. 33/1/6 no. 1406) 2 Nov 1857: Certificate of Freedom.
