Irish Convict Database by Peter Mayberry. Cornelius Connell, alias O’Connell, age on arrival, 50, per Ann and Amelia 1825, Tried Dublin, 1824, 7 years. DOB 1775, native of Cork. Ploughman shearer. --------------------------------------------------- https://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/C4106415 ADM 101/3/3 Medical and surgical journal of the Ann and Amelia convict ship for 22 July 1824 to 5 January 1825 by James Lawrence, surgeon and superintendent, during which time the said ship was employed in a passage from England to Ireland and from Ireland to New South Wales. Folios 3-4: Cornelius Connell, aged 60, prisoner; disease or hurt, cough and severe pain under the right breast. Put on sick list, 17 September 1824. Discharged 22 September 1824.
