John Connell, per Theresa, F.S., for larceny, sentence-2 months, native of England, a labourer, aged 42 yrs, 5 feet 6 inches high, resides in Longford. Tasmania Police Gazette, 29th Sept 1871, p156. Prisoner discharged from HM Gaol during the week of the 22nd Nov 1871 & 18 Nov 1871. John Connell, per Theresa, F.S., tried at Glenorchy, on the 21 Sept 1871, for idle & disorderly, served 2 months, native place Sussex, 42 yrs, 5 feet 5 inches high, brown hair, little mole near left temple. Tasmania Police Gazette, 24th Nov 1871, p189.
