N.B. There are two Margaret Connell's on board this sailing. Margaret Connell (identifier 1) was convicted at Co. Cork on a vagrancy charge (previous similar offences). 7yr transportation sentence. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) on the 'Martin Luther', arriving 01/09/1852. Aged 24yrs; single; grey eyes; sallow complexion; black hair; housemaid; 4'11 1/2";left hand had been broken; native place - Co.
