William Connell, per North Briton, F.S., Offence-Larceny, Sentence-3 months, Native place-Ireland, Trade-labourer, Age 45yrs, 5 feet 9 inches high, resides in Launceston. Tasmania Police Gazette, 24th Mar 1871, p54. Prisoner discharged from H M Gaols, Hobart & Launceston, week ending 15 Nov 1871 and 11 Nov 1871. William Connolly, per North Briton, F.S., tried at Evandale, on 27 Oct 1871, for unlawfully damaging property, received 7 days, native place is Ireland, age 50 yrs, 5 feet 7 inches high, brown hair. Police Gazette, 17th Nov 1871, p186.
