Catherine Connolly was about 16 years old when transported. Catherine was single, RC, could read, native place Roscommon, 5'2" tall, ruddy freckled and slightly pockpitted complexion, brown hair, grey eyes. Assigned to Bathurst. 21/11/1841: COF Catherine married John Wedge (Andromeda 1830). He died in 1841. 20/8/1844: Married James Whiteside (Mellish 1828) they had 6 children. They then moved to Adelaide. 4/9/1855: Catherine died aged 34 in Adelaide. James Whiteside went on to marry Ellen Graham 14/12/1857 and they had 7 children and moved to Victoria.
