Family connections for Ellen (Connor) may be: Ellen (Connor) was born about 1802 & became occupied in country work. She was tried for stealing a watch probably at Old Bailey, sentenced to Life, held at Middlesex Gaol Delivery & arrived in NSW as a convict 29 6 1830 after a voyage of 4.5months on ROSLYN CASTLE on 29 6 1830-if hers, the child Mry (McKenzie) would have been conceived in England. She may have had a relationship with John (McKenzie his second relationship) & produced a child. It may be she who was recorded in 1830 at Parramatta Factory. She died on 1 6 1836 age about33. [Some details taken from this Website] John (Kinsey) was born about 1783 & became a shoe maker. He was tried w/3others including his brother James for demanding arms, on 21 11 1806, of Robert (Armstrong) of Oghill at Sligo Ireland in Decenber 1806, sentenced to 7years, variously named (Kinsey/Kinzy) & arrived in NSW as a convict with his brother on 27 7 1807 after a voyage of 7months on DUKE OF PORTLAND; he used the name (McKenzie) in NSW. He was issued his Certificate of Freedom no.6/1293 on 3 1 1814; he was 5'6" dark pockmarked complexion dark brown hair hazel eyes. On 30 6 1814 while he was at Pitt Town he was granted land. He WAS A SETTLER WHEN HE married firstly Mary (Hobbs/Robs) on 8 10 1814 at St Phillips CofE Sydney. On 16 11 1816 he was at Hawkesbury. In November 1820 he was subjected to a burglary at his house at Windsor, as was his brother. In 1839 he was owner of 50acres at Catti/ai Creek. He died in 1865 age about82 father of 8known children.
