There were two women named Honora Connor on the Palambam, both convicted in Cork. Difficult to work out which was which. ---------------------------------------------------------- City Court, Saturday. Ellen Sullivan and Honora Connor were indicted for stealing a cloak from Griffin. Guilty. Cork Constitution, 17 Aug 1830. ----------------------------------------------------------- CITY CONVICTIONS. ... Seven years Transportation: ... Ellen Sullivan and Honora Connor, stealing cloak; ... From her certificate of freedom. Prisoner's No: 31/261. Year: 1831 (She was 20 years old at the time). Offence: stealing geese. Place of trial: Cork, Ireland. Date of trial: ? January 1831. Sentence: Seven years. Year of birth: 1811. Height: 5 feet 1 inch. Complexion: Fair ? freckled. Hair: Light brown. Eyes: Grey. General remarks: Nose a little crooked, small ? right side of neck, (cannot read the rest)

Honora Connor, not to be confused with Honora Martha Connor who was also transported on the Palambam, was tried on 14 August 1830 at the City of Cork. Honora Martha Connor was tried on 7 January 1831 at Cork. Both were 20 at the time of transportation, both came from Cork, and both were single (see NSW Convict Indents, 1788-1842, Annotated Printed Indentures 1831).
