Convict Notes
Born in Hereford, England. Sentenced Stafford Assizes and transported 1834. Lived in Port Macquarie NSW from the mid 1850s until his death in 1884. Married Jane Smith, Port Macquarie 1858 (this was his second marriage - first wife Julia Keating). Is buried in Pt Macquarie Historical Cemetry under the name of "George Cook".
