** 2 Thomas Cook's on this voyage ** Listed as: Additional identifier: 2 on Tasmanian Records. PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE THE TERM OF SENTENCE DATES. This Thomas Cook was tried at Boston, Lincolnshire for 'Sheep stealing' and sentenced to 10 years. Thomas was listed as 39 years old on arrival in VDL - he was born at Witherton near Boston. He was 5'5" tall, fair complexion, black hair and whiskers, dark eyes, cupped on breast, reads and writes a little, single. Thomas was tried on 3/4/1849 - as he had already spent time in prison his 2 year period of Probation in VDL was waived on arrival.
