24/9/1808 Bristol Mirror Bristol, England: On Monday last the following convicts were removed from Newgate in this city, to be put on board the Captivity Hulk at Portsmouth, viz. James Comer, Wm. Bailey, Redmond Barry, John Bay, and George Evans. James Comer was born C1793, most likely at Bath, Somerset. Colonial Secretary Papers: COMER, James.
