Expired 1798 How Disposed off and Remarks; DEAD; 1815 1815 - Possible Burial Record Old Sydney Burial Ground - Inventory of Burials Name; John Cooper Age; 66 years [born about 1749] Year of Burial. 13 Aug 1815 Remarks; Free The Sydney Gazette and New South Wales Advertiser. Sat 7 Died - At four o'clock on Saturday morning last, at Hunter's River; Mr. John Cooper, publican of Pitt street. He had long suffered under a consumptive complaint; and by favour of Government was permitted a passage to Newcastle, to try the effect of a change of air, in His Majesty's schooher Lady Nelson on board which he embarked at four in the afternoon of yesterday se'nnight, but only lived ten hours after leaving the Cove. The Sydney Gazette and New South Wales Advertiser. Sat 16 Dec 1815. Page 2. Classified Advertising ANN COOPER, of Pitt street, hereby gives notice that she will apply to the Supreme Court of Civil Judicature, for Letters of Administration to the Estate and Effects of her late husband, Mr. JOHN COOPER.- All persons having any Claim on the said Estate are requested to present the same for immediate adjustment; and those persons standing indebted to the said Estate are requested to settle their respective Accounts before the Sittings of the said Court, to present coercive measures being adopted to enforce payment thereof.
