Committed to our County Gaol, William Cooper, alias Cresswell, for burglariously breaking into a dwelling house in the of Penkridge, and stealing thirty shillings  in silver and copper coin, the property of Edward Abbotts;  Staffordshire Advertiser, 4 July 1818.
