Supreme Court, Thursday. Peter Miller was indicted for having stolen a petticoat from off a paling in York-street, the property, of Margaret Delany, wife of Lawrence Delany, an overseer in the Commissariat on the 7th of April, about four o'clock in the afternoon. Prisoner put in a petition, declaring his innocence. Not guilty. The Australian, 30 May 1829. -------------------------------------------------- DIED, On Saturday last, May 22nd, at his residence, York-street, Sydney, Mr. Laurence Delany, aged fifty two years, leaving a wife and family to deplore his loss.
