POLICE INCIDENTS. Honora Corcoran, for seven vears, assigned to Mrs. Morris, Castlereagh-street, was ushered into the prescnce of their Worships, on Thursday last, charged with the commoni offence of absenteeism , her mistress deposed that about a week since Corcoran came into her service, and was not with her more than three days when she decamped, and had not since been heard of. Honora, (curtseying).-" Please your Wurchips, I was willun to put up wid aters and salt, if I could have got em clean, your Wurchips, but I could'nt get em, nor ta bed to put my bones on, your Wurchips, and so I bolted." Mi. Slade - That is no excuse for running away; I therefore sentence you to be worked in the Factory, for 52 days, and afterwards returned to Government, at the request of your mistress. Honora Corkaran, aged 35, a widow with 1 child, was convicted at Cavan in 1830 for stealing clothes. She was born in Tipperary and her trade was a pedlar.
