Freemans Journal 17 March 1818 page 4 Limerick Assizes The following were convicted in the County Court: *Timothy Corkery for cow stealing * and Timothy Feighney for robbing the Cork mail boy between Croom and Charleville, both to be hanged. Both were reprieved and arrived in NSW with Life sentences: CORKERY - on “Tyne” 1819: aged 48 a native of Cork Co, labourer FEHANY - on Earl St Vincent: aged 30, native of Limerick County Timothy Corkery had a Life year sentence and arrived on the Convict ship Tyne in January 1819. He was described on the ship indents as follows: Labourer, native place County Cork, Aged 48 years (born approx 1770), 5ft 6&1/2 inches tall, Brown haired bald, hazel eyes with a turn in the right eye, sark sallow complexion. January 1819 - On list of convicts disembarked from the 'Tyne' and forwarded to Parramatta for distribution. 1822 Muster: As “Cochrane’, Timothy per ‘Tyne’ trial sentence 14 years [recorded incorrectly].In government employment at Parramatta 1825 Muster: As “Cochrane’, Timothy per ‘Tyne’ trial sentence 14 years [recorded incorrectly].In government employment at Parramatta, to Robert Bateman 1828 Census - not found 1833” Timothy Corkery per Tyne, Labourer , tried Co Cork, native place Limerick (different to indent). Ticket of Leave no 33/0218. Allowed to remain in the District of Patersons Plains;
