Irish Convict Database, by Peter Mayberry. Cornelius Lane, alias Kelcher, Belcher, age on arrival, 30, per Lord Sidmouth (2) 1821, tried 1820, at Cork Co, 7 years. DOB 1791, native place, Cork Co. Trade, Labourer.

it is likely that Cornelius is the brother of Timothy Kelcher who also arrived on the "Lord Sidmouth" and was convicted of sheep stealing at Cork City AUG 1820 - Cornelius died of Dysentry at Liverpool Hospital 24 MAY 1821
