Pierce Cotter was convicted at Dinapore Court Martial for desertion and stealing. 7yr transportation sentence. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) on the 'Guillardon' arriving 1838. Assignments in Colony. Free Certificate 1845.
