NSW Marriage Reg: 512/1841. Samuel Coulter and Rachel Wilson, MK district. (Church of England, Brisbane Water) Number of births registered to Samuel and Rachel Coulter: Edwin, 1842, (registered at Brisbane Waters); Mary A, 1844; Samuel, 1846; Charles H, 1849; Rachel, 1852; Sarah A., 1854. The other children all registered at Church of England, Gosford; Kincumber. COULTER.— July 17. at his residence, Miller's Point, North Shore, Samuel Coulter, native of Kent, England, aged 76 years. Evening News, 19 July 1877. Imprisoned for two months on the prison hulk Retribution. Recorded in indent as a labourer and milker. 5'9 with brown hair and hazel eyes. Assigned in the Brisbane Water area of NSW. Conditional Pardon on 15th march 1845. Settled in the Hawkesbury area with his family where he was a farmer.




Samuel married convict Rachel Wilson on 29th March 1841and they had 7 children. Sam is my husbands 2 times Great grandfather.
