On Thursday arrived from Calcutta, via Derwent, the ship Mary, Captain Ormon, with a various cargo. -Passengers from Calcutta, Captain Faithfull and Lieutenant Hamilton:-The Mary sailed from Calcutta the 23d of February, and left the Pilot the 1st of March. 1825: Peter COUZINS (COUSINS) – free by servitude – Mary 1819, 7 years; labourer at Richmond (see NSW and Tasmania, Australia Convict Musters, 1806-1849, NSW General muster A-L 1825). 1825, 13 June: Peter COUSINS – Certificate of Freedom #43/3888 – convicted Dublin City, June 1818, 7 years; native place Dublin; indoor servant; 27, 5’2½ ”, sallow and freckled complexion, brown hair, grey eyes. Remarks: Sent to Port Macquarie July 1824 for the remainder of his original sentence for a robbery. A second Certificate was issued on 26 October 1826, #43/5764 (see NSW, Australia, Certificates of Freedom, 1810-1814, 1827-1867).
