JAMES CREADY was indicted for feloniously being at large within her Majesty's dominions before the expiration of the term for which he had been ordered to be transported; to which he pleaded GUILTY . Aged 31.— Transported for Life. (The prisoner had been previously convicted of a like offence.) New South Wales, Australia, Convict Indents, 1788-1842 for James Crady From Devonshire twice convicted for life of returning from transportation married protestant. 5' 8 1/4" dark pale complexion dark brown hair mixed with grey blue eyes. Notes: twice transported 1. 1833 per ship Mary for life in this name. escaped in the ship Dryade and was again transported for life in the Roslyn Castle in 1834 for life escaped from the second class Illawarra and ran in the Vermont, American Whaler New South Wales, Australia, Gaol Description and Entrance Books, 1818-1930 for James Crady 9/2/1841 transfer to Norfolk Island New South Wales, Australia, Convict Death Register, 1826-1879 per ship Eden died 10/4/1842 age 33
