James Crawford was tried and convicted at Kildare on 15/03/1843 for Larceny - stealing money. 7 yr sentence. Transported on the 'Orator', ship arriving Van Diemens Land 21/11/1843. Single man. James died, at sea, on 05/11/1843 - the only death on the voyage.
