Patrick Creighton was 17 years old on arrival and was described:5'4" tall, ruddy, freckled, sandy hair, brown eyes,could read and write, Native Place - Leitrim County. 1828: 18, Stockman, Assigned to F & A Little. 28/6/1832: TOL - Upper Hunter. 1/2/1842: Patrick Creighton was fully committed for trial for uttering a cheque on the Bank of N for 32 pounds, purporting to be dre\awn by Mr William Brown of the Patterson's River, with intent to defraud Mr Jacobs, dealer, of George Street. 6/4/1842: Syd. QS. Patrick Creighton was found guilty of embezzlement and sentences to 7 years transportation to a penal colony. He was sent to Norfolk Island. 19/6/1846: Arrived in VDL from Norfolk Island now described as: Roman Catholic, Herdsman/shepherd, 5'5 1/2" tall, 54years old?? ruddy complexion, grey hair, redish whiskers dark brown eyebrows, hazel eyes and a widower. (Big difference in age, but it happens!) Period of Labour: 1 year. Station of Gang: Port Arthur. Emerged from gang 4/7/1846 8/9/1846: TOL 22/8/1848: CP Could find no marriage and a death date of 1877, that's if this is the same man, although there seemed to be only one.
