Salisbury At our Assizes, the business of which was concluded on Tuesday, William Fry, aged 19, for burglary, and John Hathaway and Thomas Cribb, for robbing the shop of Mr Martin, at Everly, of drapery good, received sentence of death. Edward Groves and Charles Tilly, for stealing, at Kingswood, black kerseymere, the property of Messrs Austin and Co. were sentenced were sentenced, the former to 14, and Tilly to 7 years transportation. William Smith and Francis Brine, for stealing three asses, to be transported for 7 years. Salisbury Journal, 1 Aug 1814
