Oxford University and City Herald Oxfordshire, England 3 Mar 1832: John Cripps, 26, charged with having stolen from the person of Samuel Needle five sovereigns and one half sovereign, at the parish of Bletchington.__14 years' trans. John Cripps was listed as 27 years old on arrival. Native Place: Oxfordshire. John was illiterate, protestant, single, 5'6ΒΌ" tall, ruddy complexion, brown hair, blue eyes, scar under chin, lost a front tooth upper jaw. 19/12/1832: John Cupps, ploughs Etc. Assigned to Robert Coulson, Black Creek. 20/11/1838: TOL Maitland - listed as 'Cupps' 6/1/1843: Convict Death Register - District/Parish: Maitland. Ticket of Leave No. 38/2013 - Listed as 'Cupps'.
