From the London Star of 27th October 1828… “OLD BAILEY SESSIONS, Oct 25th Thomas Moore. aged 16, and John Crisp. aged 17 two young “cracksmen,” were indicted for breaking and entering the workhouse belonging to the parish of St Luke, Middlesex, and stealing divers(sic) bags of books and papers, the property of the guardians of the poor of said parish. The jury found both the prisoners Guilty - Death” Note: A Thomas Moore was transported on the same voyage.
