Richard Crofts was 17 years old when convicted, along with Joseph Bodsworth 16, (who is not listed as a convict) for stealing 2 ducks, the property of Thomas Adams and Samuell Hollowell. Richard was born in Daventry Northampton, he had drk brown hair, hazel eyes, 5'5" tall, single, scars on both thumbs, small brown mole inside right arm. 1833-1835: Assigned to James Evans. Conduct record empty. 1838: Permission to marry Elizabeth Jackson (free), No Registration. 1840: Free Certificate 14/9/1844: Passenger per "Scout" George Town to Port Phillip.
