John Brandon and Owen Cronin, transmitted from our City to Galway, have been found guilty at the Assizes there, of a burglary and robbery  to a large extent in the town of Galway. Their apprehension and conviction are exclusively attributable to the exertions of Acting Chief Constable Lowry of the Police of this City, who followed up the prosecution in the most praiseworthy manner They were men of very indifferent characters.
