Committed to Hereford gaol, Benjamin Cross, charged with stealing-a horse from Mr, W, Berkeley; at Hippie (?), in this county. Worcester Journal, 9 Dec 1813. ASSIZES … Benj. Cross, Thos. Watkins, and H. Preece, for … received sentence of death, but were afterwards reprieved. Bristol Times, 16 April 1814.
