Joseph was 19 when indicted for stealing a snuff box from Edward Hurley. Described as a regular travelling reputed pickpocket.
Joseph was born in Glastonbury, had a pockmark under his jaw right side, grey eyes, light brown hair, 5’3 1/4" tall, single.
1835 Muster: Public Works.
10/10/1841: TOL
10/12/1841: Free Certificate.
1846: Married Louisa Lilley Pearce/Pierce. She was born in Tasmania 16/7/1825, her father John Pearce was a convict.
Jospeh and Louisa moved to Victoria between 1848 and 1852.
Joseph died in 1885.
