Daniel Crowe was 25 years old and came from Galway. 1837: Age 28, Assigned to the gaol at Newcastle. 18/10/1838: Assigned to James Smith and charged with neglect of work. Mr Smith's overseer, Nathaniel Nixon, deposed that Crowe had lost cattle in the bush - 50 lashes. 30/7/1840: COF 6/6/1844: COF renewed. 1876: Daniel died aged 66 at Parramatta.
