John Crutchley was 37 on arrival. He was transported for housebreaking and stealing plate. John was 5'10" tall, could read a little, married, wife Elizabeth and 3 children. 1/3/1854: CP 1865: Indicted for stealing blankets. 1/12/1874: Found guilty of being idle and disorderly and sentenced to 3 months in goal, aged 65. He was released 29/2/1875 3/3/1878: Died at Hobart, aged 69.
