Digitised Indent of ship Albemarle John Cubitt and William Cubbitt, tried at Kings Lynn, Norfolk, 19 Apr 1790, seven years. Jno Cubitt died 30 March, Lands End.




At the Quarter Sessons held Lynn by adjournment on Monday last, before James Coldham, M. F. Rishton, Esqrs. &c. &c. 26 prisoners were removed from Swaffham Bridewell to take their trials—when John and Wm. Cubitt, for fowl-stealing, were sentenced to be transported 7 years, ... Norfolk Chronicle, 24 April 1790 Yesterday se'nnight John and William Cubitt, brothers, convicts under sentence of transportation, were conveyed from the castle to Portsmouth, and put on board the hulks to be sent to Botany Bay.
