George Cullen was 34 years old on arrival in NSW and was transported for 'stealing glass'. George could read and write, was 5’4 ½” tall, pale and sallow complexion, brown hair, grey eyes, scar on chin over left upper lip, married with 2 children. Assigned to H H McArthur. 1831: TOL, Parramatta 25/2/1833: COF 27/7/1835: Married Johanna Walter/Preston – they had 4 children. Resided at Vineyard Cottage, Parramatta 1848: was a labourer at Concord, NSW 9/4/1849 (burial date): George died aged 54 at Concord NSW. His occupation was given as a carter. Johanna remarried 6/5/1853 to John Wilkes at St Patrick’s, Parramatta.




George was married, native place Wicklow.
