The Convict Indentures state that Mary Cullen is 38 years old. She could read and write; religion Roman Catholic; status married with one daughter and a native of County Wicklow. She was a Fish net maker. Mary was convicted of stealing clothes at Dublin on 27 October 1837 and sentenced to 7 years. She had one prior conviction and served 4 months. Physical attributes: Height 5 feet 7 1/2 inches; complexion sallow and freckled; hair brown and eyes hazel. Transport number 138. Prisoner number 137-38. Certificate of Freedom issued in 1845 (number 45/260).
