William Cunnane Snr... *** 2 William Cunnane's on this voyage ** They were cousins. Both listed as Whiteboys. Transported for 'Firearms'. 1/4/1835 Saunders's News-Letter Dublin, Republic of Ireland: TIPPERARY ASSIZES. William Cunnane, sen., William Cunnane, jun., Peter Madden, Patrick Mullowney, Patrick Keily, and Patrick Horan, breaking into the dwellings of John Barkaville and Lawrence Connelly__all guilty. William Cunnane Snr, was listed as 24 years old on arrival. Native Place: Kings County. William was illiterate, RC, single, 5'7" tall, brown complexion, brown hair, hazel grey eyes, scar outer corner of left eyebrow, mark of a bile back of lower right arm, scar back of forefinger of left hand. ????: Melbourne, Victoria. 1/11/1848: CP (Sydney Gazette). No further references in the newspapers after their CP's.
