Bury and Norwich Post Wed 25 Mar 1801 p. 2 Text: Bury, March 25. SUFFOLK ASSIZES... At these Assizes, which commenced on Thursday last, the following prisoners only have been tried, when this paper was put to press:- Edward Cureton, Thomas Andlezack, and Thomas Oagles, privates in the 3rd reg. of dragoons, for a burglary in the dwelling-house of John Merven of Copdock, were capitally convicted. ----------------------------------------- Bury and Norwich Post Wed 1 Apr 1801 p. 2 Text: Bury April 1. At these Assizes, which ended on Thursday last, the following prisoners were capitally convicted and received sentence of death:- William Denton, Isaac Miller, John Barton, J. McNaughton, Peter Smith, Thomas Andlezack, Edward Cureton, Thomas Ogles, and John Bealing (whose crimes were recited in our last issue), ... Warren, Ogles and Payne are left for execution; the former at Bury on Wednesday next the 8th inst; and the two latter at Ipswich, on Saturday the 11th. - The others were reprieved before the judge left the town.
