Macquarie through the recommendation of his former master the Revd. H. Fulton, with whom Memt. Lived as servant for a period of seven years, that Memt. Is now in the service of Mr John Fulton at Parramatta, and being desirous to make some provision for the approaching infirmities of age is anxious to enable him to realize a future subsistence. Therefore Memorialist most humbly & respectfully solicits your Excellency to be graciously pleased to give Memorialist a Grant of Land and your Excellency’s Memt. As in duty bound will ever pray. James Curley. These are to certify that memorialist lived with me seven years, and I always found him a good and faithful servant. 17 May 1824. Henry Fulton.
