Committed to the Castle for trial, John Reynolds, Patrick Toole, John Murray, John Curran, and Charles Reynolds, private Soldiers in the 18th regiment of Light Dragoons, quartered at Beverley, charged with having feloniously Itolen and carried away divers linen- drapery goods, the property of Messrs. Thomas Pitts and Robert Richardson, of Beverley, linen-drapers. York Herald 28 March 1801. John Reynolds, aged 21; Patrick Toole, aged 19;John Murray, aged ? and John Curran, aged ?, private soldiers in tbe 18th Regiment of Light Dragoons, for stealing cotton handkerchiefs, &c. the property of Messrs.- Pitts and Richardson of Beverley.— Guilty. — Charles Reynolds, aged York Herald, 25 July 1801.
